In addition to the Mass of Frank Martin, Studium Chorale will perform two world premieres. The Ave Maria by the Belgian composer Vincent Ghadimi (1968) will have its premiere, as well as the composition I was glad by the Dutch composer Geerten Liefting (1983). Liefting is also one of the most acclaimed improvisers in the Netherlands. During intervals between the movements, he will improvise, drawing inspiration from the sounds of Martin’s Mass.
