Principal Trombone of the MET Opera, Sasha Romero showcases the rich, crisp and triumphant sounds of this thrilling instrument.
Highlights include Frank Martin’s Ballade. Recognised as a masterpiece at its orchestral premiere in 1940, it was soon arranged for trombone and piano and regarded as the work which ‘led the trombone into our own time’ (Christian Lindberg).
