In 1936, Frank Martin composed the ballet music Die blaue Blume for a competition organized by choreographer Pino Mlakar. Deemed too avant-garde, the work was shelved and forgotten for almost a century. L’Odyssée Frank Martin joins forces with the HEM to give this score a spectacular world premiere.
