On November 21, 2025, the anniversary of Frank Martin’s death, Thierry Fischer will conduct the composer’s final work: Et la vie l’emporta (And Life Prevailed). This deeply moving piece will be performed by the Orchestre Frank Martin and the Ensemble Vocal de Lausanne – a professional choir of the highest caliber, founded in 1961, which gave the premiere of the work in 1974 under the direction of Michel Corboz.
