The year 2024 marks the 50th anniversary of the death of Frank Martin. While his name has continued to enjoy great esteem in the international world of modern music, this is the opportunity to present a new focus on the rich and extensive repertoire of this fascinating composer.

In 1936, Frank Martin composed the ballet music Die blaue Blume for a competition organised by choreographer Pino Mlakar. Deemed too avant-garde, the work was shelved and forgotten for almost a century. L’Odyssée Frank Martin joins forces with the HEM to give this score a spectacular world première.
